In this GamerDads Retrocast Technology review, resident tech head @moobit meets one of the creators of the Pandora open source handheld gaming console and mini PC and discusses its features and abilities.
This console, being open source can play ROMs of ANY game up to PS1 standard/equivalent PC standard, as well as it containing PC office software and media playback capabilities.
It was and is a very interesting console, but was according to reports dogged by long waiting list times once ordered from the company (due to not being mass produced on a huge scale). Some might say in 2013 that the Android platform offers a similar option to this console however any retro gamers and homebrew hackers should check the console out as it offers some great options even in today’s market…
